A Stronger Start: Terms & Conditions

Six weeks to learn the fundamentals of strength training, build confidence and feel better in your body.

What’s Included? 

Twelve one-hour sessions over six weeks, on a Tuesday and Thursday at the same time each week, either one to one or as a pair. This includes a health screening before you start, baseline tests in your first session, a retest in your last, and a conversation about what comes next.

Booking and payment. 

Your place is confirmed when full payment is received. The founding rate is for the first two bookings only, within [10 days / until date], in exchange for honest feedback, a testimonial, and your agreement that anonymised test results may be used in my marketing. You can say no to any of these and still book at the standard price.

Your time slot. 

Your session time is fixed for the whole course. You have up to seven weeks from your start date to complete all twelve sessions, which allows time to reschedule if something comes up.

Missed or rescheduled sessions. 

Please give me at least 24 hours’ notice and we’ll rearrange within the seven weeks. If you cancel with less notice, the session counts as used, though I’ll use my judgement for illness or emergencies. Sessions not used by the end of the seven weeks are lost, unless I’ve cancelled them.

If I need to cancel. I’ll offer you another time within the seven weeks, or a refund for any sessions I can’t deliver.

Christmas. 

There will be no sessions between 24th December and 1st January. The seven-week window extends to cover this if your course runs through it.

Health and screening. 

You’ll complete a health questionnaire before your first session. Please answer it honestly and tell me about any changes to your health during the course. I may ask you to check with your GP before we begin or continue. Exercise carries some risk, and I’ll adapt everything to your needs and stop if something doesn’t feel right.

Pairs. 

Both people need to complete the health questionnaire. If one of you can’t continue, the other can keep the same slot and we’ll agree how the remaining fee is adjusted. [decide your approach here]

Refunds and cancellation. 

If you cancel before your first session, I’ll refund your payment minus £40 admin fee.. After your first session, refunds are at my discretion, except where I’ve cancelled. 

Photos and testimonials. 

I’ll only use your name, photo or comments with your permission, and you can withdraw it at any time.
